China Information (subtitled A Journal on Contemporary China Studies) is a triannual peer-reviewed academic journal that was established in 1986. It was originally published by the Documentation and Research Centre for Contemporary China (Leiden University), but since 2004 it has been published by SAGE Publications. The founding editor-in-chief was Woei Lien Chong. The journal has been under the editorship of Tak-Wing Ngo (University of Macao) since 2002. It covers Chinese studies in the widest sense.

Monica Tan joined the Centre for Contemporary Chinese Studies as a Research Fellow in January 2020. She is a China studies specialist with research interests in health policy, health social science, and China's global engagement. She is a Chief Investigator on a Ford Foundation grant to conduct research on Chinese investment projects in Indonesia, and is leading multiple collaborative projects on China's grassroots-level response to COVID-19, anti-Chinese sentiment in Western countries, and conducting fieldwork in China in the pandemic's context. Her research has been published in academic journals such as Journal of Contemporary China, BMC Public Health, Chinese Sociological Review, and Asia & the Pacific Policy Studies.

Orville Schell is the Arthur Ross Director of the Center on U.S.-China Relations at Asia Society. He is a former professor and Dean at the University of California, Berkeley, Graduate School of Journalism. Schell is the author of fifteen books, ten of them about China, and a contributor to numerous edited volumes, including The New Yorker, The Atlantic, The New York Times, The Nation, and The New York Review of Books. His most recent book, My Old Home: A Novel of Exile was published in 2021.
